Process
Peer review
The aim of the peer review process is to ensure that high quality and original scientific studies are published.
- 01
Initial manuscript evaluation
All manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal are firstly evaluated by the Editor and Editorial Board.
- 02
Policy of peer review
IJARED employs double blind reviewing, where both the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process.
- 03
Referee evaluation
After initial evaluation, the manuscripts are sent to two referees determined by the editor and/or editorial board. If necessary, the number of referees can be increased. Referees are chosen from the referee board according to their expertise, and evaluate originality, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of results, support for the conclusions and appropriate referencing.
- 04
Revision
When a revision is required, the author(s) should consider the criticism and suggestions offered and send back the revised manuscript within 30 days. Revised manuscripts returned after one month are considered new submissions. Referees may request more than one revision. Manuscripts not accepted for publication are not re-sent to their authors.
- 05
Final evaluation
After favorable opinions of referees, the Editorial Board makes the final evaluation. The articles accepted for publication are placed in an issue sequence.
- 06
Time of peer review process
IJARED aims to complete the peer review process within 3 weeks (21 days) after submission — one week for initial and referee evaluation, and two weeks for final evaluation.
The author(s) that submit an article to IJARED are considered to accept these peer review conditions and procedures.
